To me, he represents what’s possible when you let your imagination run wild and free, and accept no barriers.
His work ethic and desire to make his mark is the gold standard, but above all it the heart his music possessed, that undeniable beauty, that breadth of vision, that refusal to be ordinary or mediocre.
It’s hard to pin point any one thing that defined him, but I’d say his everlasting legacy resides in the drama, the scale and inherent genius of his writing. And did I mention he was possessed of one of the greatest voices ever?
